Notion For Investing Research Update
This is still a work in progress. Feedback is appreciated!
Happy Monday,
Click here to watch our first Loom video + screen share update. Or read the update below…
Last week(ish) I mentioned using Notion as “home base” for my investing research. This isn’t finalized but I want to share a quick update.
Here is a link to the Founder Stock Investing “home page” on Notion
Company Pages links to a page for each company we own or that’s on our watch list. These company-specific pages will have a company overview, investment checklist, any updates I write about each company, links to their earnings reports, and links to other articles I think are important about the company. These are a work in progress, but I’m starting to build Crowdstrike’s out here.
Portfolio Updates will house all of my weekly and monthly portfolio updates. There are also links directly to companies’ Investor Relations pages and an Earnings & Events Calendar which I’ll add things like earnings dates, investor days, and other industry/company events to.
Investing Links is a master database of all the investing related links I find interesting. This includes company specific links, S-1s, earnings reports, etc. There is also a way for you to select different views I have created for each company and even a list view. Just select the views tab in the top left of the database.
Transaction Log is something I’m still not sure if I’ll keep. It’s very manual and a lot of work to keep updated. All of that is automatically tracked by my broker and I share new positions with readers when I make transactions and with my weekly/monthly portfolio reviews so I’m not sure if it is worth the effort to track manually.
That’s all for today. Hope you had a wonderful Monday. Would love for you to hit the heart at the top of this page to help more people find this newsletter. Thanks so much for your time and attention.
